Why we built a modern school uniform service.

After 15 years of embroidery work serving schools, brands in Europe, we kept seeing the same pattern repeat. Schools wanted reliable, well-organised uniform programmes — and what existed in the market was either premium-only (excluding budget-conscious communities) or fast-fashion (that didn't last a term). The operational experience could be improved: spreadsheets emailed back and forth, sizing chaos, mid-year requests delayed.

We built Blazondo to fix the operational side, not just the product side. Three programme tiers — patches, branded core wardrobe (Foundation), or custom EU-produced school clothing (Heritage) — each delivered through a modern operational model. Parent ordering through a privacy-respecting portal. Documentation provided proactively. Mid-year reorders available. Multi-year partnership rather than transaction-by-transaction supply.

The embroidery production is still at the heart of what we do. But the offering has grown beyond the craft — Blazondo is the operational service that surrounds and delivers it. Production partners in Europe we've vetted. A modern school portal designed around how schools actually run. All within Europe, all working to the same standards.

Our school portal uses anonymised data. We don't collect parent emails or addresses through schools. The data stays with the school — that's how a modern service should work.
